Selfie stick. The Selfie Stick has pretty much become a day to day object to many people, but what if we had one for our pooches?
Now, we could never actually have a dog take a selfie, no matter have good of an invention it is, but ones thing’s for sure, as humans we’d never give up on the one chance that dogs cold take selfies.
To be honest, you could probably make this at home, but dog selfie sticks are actually available to buy, unless your dog hates balls, of course. The ‘selfie stick’ is normally a long expandable ‘arm’ that you can attach your phone to, enabling you to get the best selfie possible from a higher up angle. Though this one doesn’t do the same, the main purpose is to get the dog to look at the camera. The basics of this ‘selfie stick’ is a ball attached to a bulldog type clip that you attach to the top of your phone, near the camera, and voila, a dog selfie stick.
It is designed for iPhones and Android, and works with most smartphones.
The ball even squeaks to help get the dog’s attention.
Pooch Selfie started as a fun idea, but Mr Hernandez thought it might actually be marketable. So he set up a crowdfunding account with kickstarter, which raised enough money for them to create the product. They raised over $39,000 and now have a website, where you can buy the ‘selfie stick for dogs’.
Are they any good?
We’re not going to lie, the results are pretty cool, only if you can get your dog to stay still, the Gencon All in One dog head collar and lead would be perfect for this!
Do you you think these are cool? Would you consider buying one of these? Do you have any amazing selfies of your dog showing off their Gencon dog head collar? We would love to see your snaps! Are you interested in a dog head collar?
