Now, it depends on what we mean by pampering. Is that taking them to get they nails done? Or making sure we brush them once a day? Find out more when you read on…
Pampering a dog can show them how much you truly care about them, and also it’s a great way to spend some time with them while they’re not running around like a lunatic!
We see it everywhere, on tv and in movies, where they take their dogs to the salon to get pretty bows and get their nails painted, but this is real life, and in reality, no dog really wants that.
So, how can we pamper them?
Pampering them can be something such as, getting a special wash at a pet spa, which are located all around the country.
This could include a wash and blow-dry, a cut and even a nail trim! This may seem small to us, but this would be a real treat for our pooches!
Their treat could be as mall as giving them a bone while you brush them on a Friday night or giving them some ‘people food’, which is not something that dog shouldn’t eat, you can find more about that here – instead you could give them some meat you had for dinner, just check before giving it to them.
There are also countless dogs on the market for you to pick from, any new toy would be the best thing to your pooch!
How about a dental treatment? Take them to get their teeth cleaned or even get into the habit of doing it at home. Keeping them mouth clean doesn’t sound a lot to us, but to them, it can actually stop some illnesses!
If you buy peanut butter toothpaste that is safe for dogs, we’re sure that they’ll wanna brush them all the time!
If your pooch doesn’t mind a car journey, why not drive to a nearby beach or somewhere you’ve never been before, they’ll love the new scenery and all the new thing to look at and smell!
Does your dog love them water? Why not find a safe nearby river for them to jump in or even a small kids pool! Just fill it up with warm or cold water and they’ll have fun in the sun while being kept cool!
You could also treat them to a new collar, then a big long walk! Why not try them Gencon? If you find it a nightmare taking your pooch on a walk when they pull every time, this will be a treat for you!
The Gencon® All-in-1 and Headcollars are made from soft yet durable fabric and are specifically designed not to pull up into your dog’s eyes or uncomfortably turn their head, making them the perfect lead training accessories for grown dogs and puppy walking.
