Can man’s best friend actually be a “stress-buster” if they’re allowed at your place of work, or would that just be barking-mad?
In your homes we see dogs making us feel happy and content with our lives, but whenever we leave the house (most) dog-owners feel a part of them missing and realise how much they actually enjoy their pooches’ company. So why not take them to work?
We’re not saying you can just turn up to work one day with your Great Dane without anyone knowing, but you’ll defiantly need permission, insurance, cleaners, quiet toys etc.
The company Nestlé allow their 1,000 plus employees the chance to bring their dogs to work, (we’re guessing they didn’t actually want 1,000 dogs in the office?). There’s research that proves dogs can help in a workplace, so, paws for thought, if dogs can lower blood pressure, reduce stress, allow people to be perceived as more friendly and approachable and increase cooperation then shouldn’t everyone office have a dog?
Unfortunately, that could be very unlikely for you, you’d have to consider a lot of things including; noise, allergies, smell, cost etc.
Maybe you could use a Gencon dog head collar in the office? The Gencon® All-in-1 and Headcollars are made from soft yet durable fabric and are specifically designed not to pull up into your dog’s eyes or uncomfortably turn their head, making them the perfect lead training accessories for grown dogs and puppy walking.
