Bones bad? After recent studies, vets are increasingly worried about your pooches gnawing down on this, once, delicious treat.
The PDSA, the UK’s leading veterinary charity, are asking owners not to give cooked or raw bones as it can become lodged in their throats or splinter, damaging their stomach or intestines and sometimes killing them. They’ve said that dogs might need surgery to remove the bones, or part of, or it may be too fatal and surgery cannot even become an option. It’s heartbreaking to here such sad news about a treat we give to our pups, especially because they love them so much! Can you believe that the Bones are bad?
But, like us here at Gencon, we know our all in one dog head collar customers, are as concerned and heartbroken whenever our dogs are ill, out of it or just not happy and we’re all always looking out for their health in older for hem to stay happy and healthy for a long time.
What’s right and wrong?
It’s difficult to know what’s right or wrong, but we know the basics of a balanced diet, lots of exercise and a big smile at the end of the day. We realise that walks and exercise can be difficult for both the pet and the owner, when a dog pulls, so our Gencon all in one dog head collar is a figure of 8 lead that prevents the dog from pull and is used by trainers as a perfect ‘no pull’ lead! The Gencon® All-in-1 and Headcollars are made from soft yet durable fabric and are specifically designed not to pull up into your dog’s eyes or uncomfortably turn their head, making them the perfect lead training accessories for grown dogs and puppy walking.
