It has been drawn to our attention that there are a number of illegal imitations of Gencons on the market. At the moment there is one using a metal ring to form the two loops under the dogs chin. When this headcollar tightens, the metal ring digs into the dogs throat. Another using a snap fastener in place of a ring, does not slacken after tightening and can restrict the dog's airway.
